*Update* Due to the state of emergency that has been called by Governor Ivey and state agencies and business asking their employees to work from home, the AVL Council has decided to cancel the virtual March 18th meeting.

Due to ever growing concerns over the spread of COVID-19, the AVL Council has decided to make March 18th Council meeting virtual. Protecting the health and safety of all individuals involved and of the general public is foremost on the minds of the AVL Council. The AVL Council would like to express their thoughts, concern, and support for individuals that have been affected by COVID-19. The Council is working on ways to conduct Council business remotely and to keep all AVL patrons informed on Council business and AVL news. There are currently no plans to cancel the Council meeting that is scheduled for May 20th.
