EBSCO is retiring the AHFS Consumer Medication Information database effective December 2022. Content that was included in the AHFS Consumer Medication Information database can now be found in EBSCO's Consumer Health Complete database.
Consumer Health Complete can be accessed from the High School Resources, College & University Resources, Adult Resources, and All Resources pages on AVL.
Springer Nature's Biomedicine & Life Sciences and Energy eBook collections are now available on AVL! These eBook collections can be accessed from the High School Resources, College & University Resources, Adult Resources, E-Book Resources, and All Resources pages on AVL. These eBooks are a permanent purchase to help support Affordable Learning in Alabama.
Alabama Public Television and the Alabama Virtual Library have partnered to make PBS LearningMedia available through the Alabama Virtual Library website. PBS LearningMedia is a free service that provides access to over 100,000 digital resources for PreK-12 educators nationwide.
Students can access PBS LearningMedia on the Elementary School Resources, Middle School Resources, High School Resources, and College & University Resources pages.
Educators can access PBS LearningMedia on the Adult Resources and All Resources pages.
Springer Nature is providing trial access to Scientific American through the month of October. The Scientific American trial is open to all Alabama students, educators, and residents.
Scientific American can be accessed from the All Resources page on AVL.
